Format: cast 'possession' <target> cost: 80 mana This spell allows the caster to temporarily possess the body of the target. For all intents and purposes, the casters soul is moved into the targets body, allowing the caster to see through the eyes of the target, and directly control the target. The possession spell is an extremely high level mage spell, one that few mages ever manage to cast. Even the most successful mages usually require powerful artifacts to enhance thier magical abilities enough to cast the spell. Possession also requires very high intelligence and wisdom, and has a high mana cost. It is also of a short duration, and while in effect, your original body has no defenses. The complexity of this spell also makes it fairly easy to break from the outside. A low level dispel magic is often sufficient to completely disrupt the effect on either target or caster. One should be warned not to cast this spell on certain types of creatures. Some of the stranger planar creatures are capable of completely overwhelming the caster, and have the tendency to take what they wish from the helpless caster before ending the spell.
